There are a lot of wireless networking devices that have been marketed as durable, and yet they cave in to even the slightest change in temperature, more so if they are exposed to a variety of harsh environmental conditions. The Metal5SHPn therefore is clearly something else. Made from metallic materials, they are definitely meant to survive the outdoors. They don’t break, and they are easily secured to where you want them to be. They have a wide temperature range, which is from -30 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius.
Easy Attachment and Installment
The Metal 5SHPn is meant to work with different technologies, and this can be added to your existing network, especially if you want to enhance not only the Internet performance but also the speed and the reach. This already comes with an N-connector so you’ll be able to add a standard antenna (or an antenna of your choice), amplifying the coverage. The package also has some pole mounting kits if you wish to add this to your existing base stations, among others. The Metal 5SHPn is quick to install and adjust, and it is equipped with LED indicators that notify you of the real status of your connection and Metal 5SHPn in real time. The different networking options make sure that you can use the device to create access points or point-to-point links.
The Metal 5SHPn has 1 LAN port for networking and is designed with AR7241 MIPS-BE CPU with a speed of 400MHz. It also supports 802.11a/n wireless standards with a TX power of 31dBm, ensuring that connectivity is far reaching and is consistent. The device works up to 1,300mW output power at a frequency of 5GHz.
It also runs on RouterOS L4, which entitles you to around 15 days of configuration support through e-mail. You can also upgrade the system to RouterOS v6.x.
