The SXTG 2HnD can work as a CPE (customer premises equipment) or as an access point, when you need to connect a lot of devices and users to the Internet. It works at a frequency of 2.4GHz.
The SXTG 2HnD is a sector antenna that connects via MIMO technology with an expanded or more improved throughput (2x). It is not completely omnidirectional, but it’s able to beam or transmit Internet signals in a 60-degree angle.
It functions with an AR7242 CPU with a clock speed of 400MHz. It also supports the MIPS-BE architecture and possesses 32MB of RAM. It has one LAN port and one USB port, which allows you to conveniently configure this antenna with other networking technologies. The antenna gain is set at 10dBi, which is sufficient to cover a small home or office with a TX power of 32dBm. The SXTG 2HnD supports 802.11b/g/n wireless protocols.
Durability and Stability
The SXTG 2HnD measures 140mm by 140mm by 56mm. It works at a temperature range from -30 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius. It includes the necessary mounting kits or pole brackets so the outdoor device stays secure even when it’s exposed to different environment conditions. Furthermore, it comes with its own power adapter and PoE injector.
SXTG 2HnD operates on a pre-installed operating system called RouterOS L4. This license level allows you to take advantage of 15 days’ worth of initial configuration support, which you can now do via e-mail. You can also enjoy unlimited EoIP tunnels as well as VLAN interfaces, as well as 200 PPPoE, PPTP, and L2TP tunnels. It also supports protocols such as RIP, BGP, and OSPF, and RADIUS client for authentication. This way, you can properly secure your network from unauthorized access. It serves as many as 200 active users in hotspots.
